I've opened the sails on good faith that if I started putting forth more effort in drawing, my lazy hull would budge and start cruising again.  Well, avast mateys!  There be wind in me sails once more!!  Ahaaarrr!!!  'Tis much to me likin'.  I've begun illustration for my mom's childrens book, tentatively entitled "Alphabet Art".  I'll be posting updates as progress continues.  For right now I've just been doing the line work...I'm saving the airbrushing for my new Corel DRAW X4 package that should be arriving any day now...aaarrr...there be a fine piece o' software fer ye.

Well, I've been doing some traditional work of late, mostly pencil outlines with Prismacolors for the fill.  A few ink drawings as well, which are always fun.  The point being, I've been drawing.  That's a very, VERY good sign.  And the more I've been doing it, the more I crave to do it more...go figure, eh?  I'm on the road right now without the proper implements wherewith to publish such works to the world, but by this weekend they'll be here...they're nothing overwhelmingly glorious, but they represent the comeback I've been hoping for.  Yes, there's a change in the wind, says I.

Creative Juices

0 min read
I've returned to college life after a two and a half year break and miraculously, I feel my creative juices flowing again.  I've resumed "construction" on an old idea for a novel, as well as recording new music.  Unfortunately, the LCD screen on this laptop has lost a color, making it VERY difficult to paint by WACOM.  Therefore, I will return to more traditional methods of art, namely Prismacolors.

It's great work. I lived in Okinawa for about five years and we visited Tokyo and Fukuoka a few times, so Japanese scenery and architecture is very dear to me.
thanks! I never been to Okinawa, too far but I'd like to visit sometime.
It's good to hear some feedbacks from ppl who've actually been in Japan :)
